Cycle South Brum are proud to announce our family bike ride, this is our Autumn half term led ride from the the MAC, Cannon Hill Park. We will be heading off to a Manor Farm Park join Friends of manor Farm Park for some AUTUMN ANTICS + FUN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Monday 29th October 2018

The ride will be traffic free, Aprox 6 miles from Cannon Hill Park to Manor Farm Park, the route will be mostly off-road using cycle paths, parks and will include a few small roads.

This ride will end when we join Friends of Manor Farm Park for some FREE activities in the park including *Pumpkin carving *Activities with the park ranger *Crafts & Bugs

This ride is suitable for all the family and all people-powered transport is welcome including bikes, scooters, trailers and trikes, recommended for ages 4 years plus. Booking is essential on all our rides for health and safety purposes.

On all of our group rides, the pace will be gentle, we will go at the pace of the slowest rider and participants are free to stop for a rest if they need to.

Starting at the MAC, cannon hill park. We will meet out the back by the picnic tables for a 9.30am departure. 

Please note that the ride will finish at Manor Farm Park and you will need to make your own way home.

You will need to have your own Bike and helmet to take part in the ride.

Booking is essential for health and safety reasons.  If you are booking for more than one person please add the correct number of tickets to your cart and tell us the names of all attendees in the booking form. The ride will go at the pace of the slowest rider and nobody will be left behind. This ride is supported by Move More, Eat Well.

Can I borrow a bike? We will not be offering bike hire at this event, you will need to bring your own bike to take part.

Helmets We politely request that children and adults attending group rides wear a helmet. People who cannot wear a helmet for religious or cultural reasons should let us know. When you complete the booking form, you will be asked if you need to borrow a helmet.

FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? No.

What can/can’t I bring to the event? You should bring a bike and helmet, water, appropriate clothing and footwear, sunblock if necessary, and food if necessary.

Can I update my registration information? Yes

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No.  You will be sent a reminder email.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes but please make sure you have booked the correct number of places.  For example, if your group consists of one adult and two children then please book three places.
